Working Men, Obama, Christians, Devil, Unite!

A spectre is haunting America—the spectre is Obamamania.

As Christ-like as Senator Obama feigns to be, his statements, associations, and positions, make it clear that an Obama presidency will actually progress towards eradicating the one true God out from our national conscience. “Oh stop being so over dramatic, Joe!” Am I really exaggerating?

Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels concluded their masterpiece of the philosophy and grounds for communism—The Communist Manifesto—with this ambitious challenge: Working Men of All Countries, Unite! Today, we actually have Christians in cahoots with The enemy in removing any influence of God from our society. If you are a Christian voting for Barack Hussein Obama, I mean you.

What grieves me the most is not so much that liberal Obama may become our next president, it is that Christians, (CHRISTIANS!) refuse to even consider looking at facts or hearing any contrary opinion, because quite frankly, it will “blow their spot”—expose them. Solomon said, “One’s pride will bring him low,” and in this case (election), it may bring the whole country downward. Unfortunately, this is nothing new for God’s finicky people. “They said to him…now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have. [T]he LORD told [Samuel]... it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me…but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do…But the people refused to listen to Samuel. ‘No!’ they said. "We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations…” This is the perennial biblical illustration of “be careful what you ask for.” Being unique is the norm for the people of God. Israel was unique as the chosen people of God, as are Christians. In fact the Bible identifies us as “peculiar.” The United States has also been “different” throughout its history. Not a Theocracy, per se, but certainly a nation built on biblical principles; a country whose people have not been afraid to call on the name of the Lord for salvation. A country that boasts even on its currency, “in God we trust,” in its pledge of allegiance, “one nation under God,” and who’s very Constitution states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” There are people in our country today who feel that we too should be like other nations—namely those of Europe. In 1835, in his De la démocratie en Amérique, a social and political study of the United States, Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville wrote, “the religious atmosphere of the country was the first thing that struck me on arrival in the United States.” Mr. De Tocqueville was infatuated with the strength of our Democracy. It wasn’t perfect, but it was great, and it worked.

Here is what Marx said: “My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.” He said, “Religion is the opium of the masses.” He said, “Since only what is material is perceptible, knowable, nothing is known of the existence of God.” Communism/Socialism and God cannot mix. Either government rules the people—or God does. We cannot serve two masters. I do not believe that Senator Obama is a Communist. In fact, I believe he thinks that his positions are best for our country. When he says, “When we spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody,” this is exactly Marxism’s “redistribution of wealth.” This is Socialism. Where I give credit to Marx and Lenin, is that you know exactly where they stood, while Senator Obama plays games. This is not a game. This is about the removal of God. This is not about the economy; it is about the removal of God. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” This is the bottom-line here. Obama says he is a Christian and believes in God, but finds certain scriptures to be too extreme, and certain biblical teachings to be irrelevant to our modern society. Do you believe the same thing?

We have enough evidence, don’t we? His Pastor of 20 years preaches, “God Damn America!” His friend Bill Ayers (whom Obama lied about) terrorized our nation and hates America. Another Obama influence was Saul Alinsky: "A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by…the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order…the political paradise of communism." If Obama becomes our president, will we be a Communist nation a year from now? No. What I am saying, is that it is evident that we will head in the direction where God will be more and more irrelevant in our country, and it is absolutely regretful that Christians will be part of the movement. Christians will be able to cry aloud with Nietzsche: “God is dead; and we killed Him.”

The Communist Manifesto ends with this: “Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution.” I say to us all, let us all tremble at the Obama revolution.

A spectre is haunting Europe – the spectre of communism.

A spectre is haunting America—the spectre is Obamamania.

Hi Joel, I finally had a few moments to participate in your forum and share my two cents. First of all, let me say I'm impressed on how you have taken matters into your own hands in your endevour to be heard and refuse to be on the sidelines of challenging political and spriritual discussions. Keep up the great work.
As I saw the election results come in, I kept asking myself, "The first black man is going to be elected as President of the United States. Why am I so unhappy?"
Of course I'm happy this country has come to elect a minority to it's highest office. It's proof that this country has made incredible strides in the issue of race. But Obama's race was never an issue for me. However, I saw his idealogy and his past voting records and associations as the reason for my unhappiness. This country has elected the most liberal senator in the senate as President. How can the need for change blind so many people?? How can the American people forget the roots of how this country was founded, and not to mention, how this country became rich and powerful?
You're right Joel when you say Christians may have helped in killing God in this country. This election is another sign we are moving away from this country's original intent. They say the young voters came out to vote heavely for Obama. The problem is that those 18, 19, 20 yr olds never received a real education in history on how this nation was founded and how it was never the intent to have a massive, intrusive and tax burdening government.
Joel, you and I are old enough to remember the Jimmy Carter years. I only hope history repeats itself, because after Carter came the Reagan revolution.

Interesting comment. However, I must question your naivete in believing that our country was founded upon "Christian" principles. Are you ignoring the fact that the majority of our "founding fathers" were Deists and staunch humanists, ideologies that run counter to the beliefs of orthodox Christianity. Their beliefs were largely the byproduct of the Enlightenment, and not Scripture. So please, let's put this idea to rest that our country was founded upon "Christian" principles. Unless, of course, you are a Deist!

The problem with the modern Evangelical right is a fascination with anyone who mouths the words "God" and "pro-life." As soon as Evangelicals hear such terms, they christen the candidate as the sole solution to our country's religious woes. Shame shame shame.

Anonymous, you are ignorant.

This country was indeed founded on Christian principles. It's a fact that liberals such as yourself would like to redefine, which has been the satanic stratagem since Eden. This is why John Adams said, "The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God." And why Thomas Jefferson said, "The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society...We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus." This is why they pray in congress at the start of each day. And why we celebrate Christian Holy Days (Holidays) as a nation. And so on. If you go to Washington D.C. you will evidence of our biblical heritage everywhere. Embedded in stone, in fact.

Obama uses "God," all the time, and is presumably against abortion. Evangelicals are not slobbering over him.

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Nice try anonymous,

As Joel correctly states, there is evidence of our christian heritage everywhere in this country. And let's not forget that europeans came to this land to escape religious and political persecusion. 200 hundred years later, christian principles are firmly entrenched in the lives and thoughts of our founding fathers.

But despite the errossion of God in this country, (which I'm sure you're happy about) the people of California, and other states, soundly defeated any attempts to accept same sex marriage. I wonder why?
