Obama Honors the Lord, Godliness, Biblical Truth!

President Obama, a self-proclaimed Christian, declared June 2009 to be the “Lord, Godliness, and Biblical Truth” month. In his White House Speech, he said “LGBT Americans have made, and continue to make, great and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the fabric of American society.” He said, “I am proud to be the first President to appoint openly LGBT candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the first 100 days of an Administration.”

He proclaimed: “I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.” Oops! What?! Is that what he meant by the LGBT community? No wonder he calls himself a “fierce advocate of equality for gay men and lesbians.” He did say, after all, that he does “not agree that homosexuality is immoral.” Why should Christians align themselves with the Bible anyway? It’s just a book, right?

It grieves me how he disregards and belittles Christians who hold the biblical view. It is clear that homosexuality is condemned in Scripture. The Apostle Paul declared that those who practice homosexuality, along with other offenders, “will not inherit the kingdom of God" (I Corinthians 6:9; 10). For the sake of their souls, people should know this truth, not have it ignored or rationalized away. Jesus said, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh” (Matthew 19:5, Mark 2:3). Moses wrote, “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable” (Leviticus 18:22). Do you need the original Hebrew to understand that?

Obama goes on to criticize us ignoramuses: “there are still fellow citizens, perhaps neighbors or even family members and loved ones, who still hold fast to worn arguments and old attitudes.” I hate it when my president calls me stupid because I adhere to the truth of Scripture. When it came to promoting the agenda of men who have sex with other men, individuals who practice sodomy, women who sleep with other women, and individuals who alter their genitalia, the president celebrated hosting a gathering of 200 prominent homosexuals in the White House. When it came to the National Day of Prayer, Obama ended President Bush’s policy of marking that event in the White House and giving it national prominence. He did not find national prayer worthy of recognition observance by him.

How long will we accept that what Jesus and the Bible say, doesn’t matter? How will we rationalize to our children that Jesus is a liar—because the president says so. How long?

"HATE BILL"-OBSESSED CONGRESS

If "hate bill"-obsessed Congress [and Obama] can't protect Christians from "gays" as much as it wants to protect "gays" from Christians, will Congress be surprised if it can't protect itself from most everyone?
If "hate bills" are forced on captive Americans, they'll still find ways to sneakily continue to "plant" Biblical messages everywhere. By doing so they'll hasten God's judgment on their oppressors as revealed in Proverbs 19:1.
(See related web items including "David Letterman's Hate, Etc.," "Separation of Raunch and State," "Michael the Narc-Angel," "Obama Avoids Bible Verses," and "Tribulation Index becomes Rapture Index.")
Since Congress can't seem to legislate "morality," it's making up for it by legislating "immorality"!
